Line up one card, hold still, and watch for glare. If a few cards look alike, Scancana shows up to three matches—pick one or try again.

Go to iOS Settings → Scancana → Camera, turn access on, then return to the Add tab and Scan.

Alerts only send when a tracked Market price moves that day—and only if notifications are on. They fire at most once per card per day, and only if the move matches your alert rules.

Turn notifications on in Settings → Notifications, or tap the banner on Price Tracking. If you denied permission, open iOS Settings → Scancana. Tracking and trends still work without alerts.

By default, no—everything stays on this iPhone or iPad. Turn on iCloud Sync (Pro) if you want the same boxes and card photos on this Apple ID across your devices.
