These terms apply to your use of the Scancana iOS app. By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Scancana.
Unofficial fan-made app
Scancana is unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, or approved by Disney or Ravensburger. Card names and related properties belong to their owners.
The app does not sell official card art or official digital cards. Pro unlocks software features—such as Burst Scan, price tracking, iCloud Sync, and CSV export. It does not provide official or licensed card content.
Your license
You may use Scancana on Apple devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes. The app is licensed, not sold. You must be at least 13, or use it with a parent or guardian where the law requires that.
Pro
Pro is a one-time In-App Purchase for Lifetime Access. It is not a subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple. You can restore your purchase on another device using the same Apple Account. Buying Pro does not turn on iCloud Sync.
Prices are shown in the App Store and may vary by country or region. Purchases follow the Apple Media Services Terms.
Scanning and prices
Card identification is not guaranteed. Lighting, glare, similar printings, and catalog coverage can affect results. Use Search if a scan fails.
Prices and trends are ballpark market references. They are not live listings, offers to buy or sell, or investment advice.
Your photos
You retain ownership of photos you take or add to Scancana. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights needed to use any images you add. Do not use Scancana to infringe another person’s or company’s rights.
Acceptable use
Do not use Scancana to interfere with its operation, abuse its services, attempt unauthorized access, or circumvent features or limits. Do not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is,” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that it will always work without errors or interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of Scancana.
Apple
Apple is not responsible for Scancana or for claims about it. Questions about the app go to us, not Apple. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
