Step1st helps you reduce distractions by locking selected apps until you reach your daily step goal.

The process is simple:

1. Choose which apps you want to limit.
2. Set a daily step goal.
3. Walk until you reach your goal.
4. Once the goal is reached, your locked apps unlock for the rest of the day.

Step1st uses Apple's Screen Time API to temporarily pause the apps you selected.

This allows the app to automatically:

• lock selected apps before your step goal is reached
• unlock them once your daily milestone is completed

Step1st does not collect or transmit your Screen Time activity data.

Step1st needs Motion & Fitness access to count your steps and track your daily progress.

This allows the app to determine when your step goal has been reached.

Your motion data stays on your device and is never shared.

Connecting the Apple Health app allows Step1st to show:

• your step history
• walking trends
• longer-term statistics

Step1st only reads step count data and never modifies your Health data.

Make sure that:

• Screen Time access has been granted
• the apps are selected in your locked apps list
• your daily step goal has not already been reached

If the issue continues, try restarting the app.

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in:

Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Yes.

Step1st can still track steps using Motion & Fitness permission.

However, connecting the Health app enables additional statistics and longer step history.
